Robert J. Maley devoted countless hours to pro bono service in Richmond, Indiana during his 50-year legal career.   He was particularly involved in assisting youth, the elderly, and minorities, including Richmond's growing Hispanic community.   The Robert Maley Pro Bono Foundation was formed in 2005 after his death to continue his legacy of distinguished and devoted pro bono service in Richmond.  The Foundation was approved by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity in 2005.  

The Foundation's mission is to support pro bono services in Richmond, and does this through support of the Whitewater Valley Pro Bono Commission -, located at 712 E. Main Street. 


Persons in the Richmond community who have unmet legal needs in non-criminal matters and who do not have the financial resources for legal counsel may contact the Whitewater Valley Pro Bono Commission for possible assistance.
